West Ham weigh up £7m Mario Gomez bid as Slaven Bilic looks to solve striking problems

. .West Ham are considering a move for £7million Germany star Mario Gomez to solve their problems up front.

The 31-year-old Fiorentina striker netted 28 times in 41 appearances on loan at Besiktas last season.

But he wants to quit Turkey because of what he sees as the country’s unstable political situation.

 West Ham’s first choice target continues to be AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca for whom they have agreed a £26million million fee..Bacca however, has stalled on the move despite a contract worth around £95,000-a-week and is waiting for a better offer.
