Paul Pogba giving Drake a Juventus shirt as a gift

Paul Pogba has been pictured giving rapper Drake a Juventus shirt as Manchester United fans continue to sweat over the Frenchman's world record transfer.

The 23-year-old is currently on holiday in the United States, the latest leg of which has seen him jet into New York.

As well as keeping fit and trying his hand at kickboxing it appears Pogba has also taken the time out to take in a Drake gig - and he had a gift for him afterwards. 

Jose Mourinho hinted ahead of Wayne Rooney's testimonial on Wednesday that he wanted the world record deal concluded by the end of this week and, according to the Manchester Evening News, United have succeeded in doing so.

The 23-year-old decided to rejoin United a fortnight ago and his move was finalised exactly four years to the day since his Old Trafford departure was confirmed by Sir Alex Ferguson.

United are understood to have agreed personal terms with Raiola in early July and reached a breakthrough in negotiations with Juventus over Raiola's commission last week.

United have already clinched the signings of Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Mourinho confirmed in May he wanted to strengthen four positions during his maiden press conference.
