STURRIDGE OFFERED TO ARSENAL ON LOAN

The 26-year-old's representatives have approached the
Emirates Stadium outfit over a temporary move, but Liverpool
have no interest in letting him leave

Daniel Sturridge has been offered to Arsenal by his
representatives on loan, but Liverpool remain adamant that
their frustrated striker is not going anywhere, Goal
understands.
The 26-year-old, a boyhood Arsenal fan, has cut a
disappointed figure at Anfield in recent weeks due to a lack of
game time and Jurgen Klopp's failure to play him in his
preferred central position.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is open to adding players to his
squad if they are 'world class', with Sturridge put in that
bracket after scoring 13 goals in 25 games last season,
despite struggling with various fitness issues.

Wenger has already spent nearly £100m on new players this
summer with the signings of Granit Xhaka, Lucas Perez,
Shkodran Mustafi and Rob Holding, while other players have
been let go, including Serge Gnabry to Werder Bremen.
Goal understands that Liverpool remain firm in their stance
that Sturridge is staying put, indicating that he would not be let
go to a direct rival, with the Reds not receiving any offers for
the player as of Tuesday afternoon
